Tori loves reading, Beatles, Neil Diamond, Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison, is pretty sure she was born in the wrong decade. Tori has developed our inventory system using an app that befuddles both of her parents, saving us hundreds of hours. 

She makes the coffee and warms up the ambiance with her beautiful smile. She is a Senior, a Reiki practitioner and will be headed to Massage Therapy college in the Fall of 2018. 

After a long and jagged journey through the maelstrom of random career choices and more than a few stabs at AI reinvention, Jake found his niche in the glow of a computer screen. Technical accounts manager by day and writer by night, he has gathered, hauled, hoisted, organised and shelved thousands of books and is conrad.'s best discoverer of obscure and wonderful tomes. 

He and Sarita have been planning their getaway from normal for decades... for now, conrad fills the bill perfectly!

His latest book is due to be published in the spring of 2018.

Sarita has spent the last 40 years of her somewhat adult life loving books, foreign countries, poetry, music and art. She's been fortunate enough to find ways to make a living doing most all of those things, culminating in her 20 year dream to combine them into some kind of community space where all can be found and enjoyed. 

She is a published poet, singer, Reiki Master Teacher and loves her kids. Including the big one she married who has helped her to make the dream of  conrad.books a physical reality. 

She offers editing services, book clubs, Reiki classes and treatments and will make you your favourite coffee if you come to visit!
